Valuno Group announces that the company is suspending services from the supplier Intergiro. The decision follows reports published this morning by SVT’s investigative program, Uppdrag granskning, indicating that Intergiro has been used for money laundering.

Earlier today, SVT Uppdrag granskning published information regarding money laundering through the bank Intergiro. Valuno currently receives banking services from Intergiro. However, Valuno has now decided to pause its services from Intergiro and temporarily switch to alternative providers.

Intergiro’s services will remain suspended until further notice, pending the outcome of an ongoing investigation by the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) into Intergiro. Finansinspektionen has stated that the investigation is in its final stages, and Valuno has now chosen to await its conclusion.

”Valuno Group has implemented extensive improvements in its internal customer due diligence processes after certain shortcomings were identified during an investigation by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC). The investigation was concluded in 2023 without Valuno being subject to any fines. We take AML and customer due diligence very seriously and have full confidence in our internal procedures. At the same time, we expect our service providers to maintain the same high security standards. We now await the results of Finansinspektionen’s investigation into Intergiro,” says Daniel Sonesson, CEO of Valuno Group.
